Rose Vandepitte, born in 1953, lives and works in Brussels.
Very early on she develops an interest in photography more precisely documentary and travel photography. During the first half of the ’80s she travels through Asia and Latin America. The interest for photography is further stimulated when she later works for Ilford in Brussels. In 1999 she changes jobs and decides to follow photography courses in Brussels at « Atelier Contraste » in Etterbeek and the « Académie des Arts » in Woluwe St Lambert, later she continues at the « Kunsten Academie » in Anderlecht. She also joins workshops abroad where she gets more involved in Street Photography. The workshops led by Ernesto Bazan, Nikos Economopoulos and Maciej Dackowicz have a lasting impact.
